The Australio-Hong Kong War was a war betwen Australia and Hong Kong.
War[]
On 16 February 1994, a trade agreement between Australia and Hong Kong ended a long-standing international rivalry.
That evening, British minister (with special responsibility for the Commonwealth) Martin Craste and Australian foreign secretary Gavin Hawtrey spoke with news anchor Christopher Morris on BBC2's The Day Today.
Tensions were swiftly raised, and the two ministers declared war. Fighting soon broke out in Eastmanstown, on the Australio-Hong Kong border.
